Dear Fred, it's hard to believe you have been away from us for over a year now. How I wish we had the opportunity to meet up more often over the last few years. I have so many fond memories of you in earlier times when you were there for me to look up to. All us cousins grew up in an age when times were hard but life was what you made it. We looked to each other for company, made up our own games, created our own simple pastimes and respected our parents in return for their love and the few comforts they struggled to provide for us. Now, with our own families grown and moved on in their lives, we can think with love and dignity, of those lives that have left us, so many lasting memories of our times together when our families were complete and whole. Dear Fred, you may have left this life, but you have begun a new one in Heaven, one that will go on forever and where you have your mam and dad to keep your spirit safe. Sleep peacefully, Dear Fred.
